Study Abroad in London while earning your Master of Engineering in Advanced Systems

UConn is partnering with Anglo Education for students to complete their MEng in London in 1 year. Students have the opportunity to focus on one of two concentrations, either Data Science or Advanced Systems engineering.

Systems Engineering is revolutionizing the way we develop and operate complex cyber-physical systems around the world? Systems engineering aims to ensure the elements of the system work together to achieve the objectives of the whole. This requires systems engineering to deal with the complexity and risk by integrating across system elements, disciplines, the life cycle, and the enterprise. Systems engineering balances system solutions that satisfy diverse and often competing stakeholder needs and expectations such as performance, reliability, security, privacy, and cost. The MENG in Advanced Systems Engineering trains students on both foundational and practical aspects of systems engineering, model-based systems engineering, model-based design, and cyber-physical systems engineering. Systems Engineers are in heavy demand in many industries.  Glassdoor ranked Systems Engineer as the #30 job in America in 2022 on its top 50 jobs list.

MENG Advanced Systems Engineering Plan of Study

COURSES IN THE ADVANCED SYSTEMS ENGINEERING MENG WILL REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING STUDENT COMMITMENT PER WEEK:

  • 1-2 hours of online synchronous lecture per week, per class
  • 9-10 hours of independent learning and study outside of the classroom per week
  • 6-month internship starting in the fall semester
